LONDON, UK - Jul 18, 2014 - Deallus Consulting is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Claudio D’Ambrosio as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2014. Claudio will succeed Richard Withers, the Founder and current CEO who will remain on the Board of Deallus Holdings Ltd.

Founded in the UK in 2004 as a consultancy specialising in Competitive Intelligence, Deallus has successfully built on the expertise and leadership achieved within this segment, to become an innovative global life science consultancy with an expanded service offering and client base. The Company has shown impressive year on year double-digit growth, with a CAGR of 33% since YE March 2007. In the 12 months from July 2013 to July 2014, sales of USD18.1 million were recorded, and continued growth is projected for the current financial year.

Deallus supports its rich client mix with strategy development through harnessing objective external perspective with in-depth market knowledge and rigorous analytics. With close to 100 employees and a global footprint spanning five offices across USA, Europe and Asia, the appointment of a new CEO will bring increased focus, energy and dynamism to the business during its next growth phase.

Claudio joined Deallus Consulting in 2008 and took on his current position as Head of North American Operations in 2011, where he has been fundamental to driving the Company’s growth in this region over the past three years. Commenting on his new appointment as CEO, Claudio said:
