WIRB-Copernicus Group’s Dr. Stuart Horowitz Has Been Appointed to the Association of Clinical Research Professionals’ Editorial Advisory Board
PRINCETON, NJ - Feb 25, 2015 - WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG), the worlds largest provider of regulatory and ethical review services and software to support clinical research, announced today that Stuart Horowitz, Ph.D., M.B.A., its president of institutions and institutional services, has been appointed to the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRPs) Editorial Advisory Board for a two-year term.
The WCG organization joins me in congratulating Dr. Horowitz on this prestigious appointment, said WCG Chairman and CEO Donald A. Deieso, Ph.D. With deep experience in institutional research administration, Dr. Horowitz works tirelessly to promote clinical research excellence and to help our clients to achieve it. He will undoubtedly bring tremendous value and a unique and important perspective to his work with ACRP.
I have been an ACRP member for many years and Im a strong proponent of its efforts to promote leadership and professional excellence in clinical research worldwide. In his new role, Dr. Horowitz will participate in the double-blind peer review process for ACRPs prize-winning publication, Clinical Researcher, and help to maintain the high quality of its articles. Clinical Researcher was awarded first prize in the American Society of Association Executives Gold Circle competition as the best peer-reviewed journal in its budget category.
Together with his fellow Board members, Dr. Horowitz will endeavor to provide ACRP members with news and information that will enhance their professional development. The Board will also ensure that Home Study articles in each issue of Clinical Researcher meet the requirements of Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN), and other accrediting bodies.
