Clinical Informatics News Best Practices Award-Winner Research Resonance Network is Renamed to Nimblify Site Benchmarks
MADISON, WI, UNITED STATES - Dec 20, 2016 - Nimblify, Inc., a clinical trials technology company, announces its free comparative analytics tool is rebranded to reflect the value it provides and meet the needs of the industry.
Clinical trials technology company Nimblify, Inc., a Forte Research Systems company, announced today that its comparative analytics tool for clinical research sites, Research Resonance Network (RRN) has officially been renamed to Nimblify Site Benchmarks. This name change reflects the true benefit of the product - benchmarking your sites operational metrics against other similar organizations. Site Benchmarks will remain free of charge for all sites in the industry and provide the same invaluable information to help sites identify areas of improvement and ultimately drive change by turning insight into action.
With more than 46,900 protocols included in its benchmarks data to date, Site Benchmarks has become a powerful tool to empower sites. Since RRN has evolved and grown, weve decided that a rebrand was necessary to communicate the true value to sites - the unique ability to compare your performance to your peers, said Shree Kalluri, Founder & CEO of Nimblify and Forte. We feel that the new name is more representative of one of the few tools in the industry that uses site-driven metrics. It puts the power in the sites hands to drive discussions on performance and use the data to improve, added Kalluri.
The tool provides a mechanism for sites to contribute a standardized set of operational metrics and compare their performance to an anonymous, aggregated group of peer organizations. Site Benchmarks connects to the sites clinical trial management system (CTMS) to pull operational data, including cycle times, that measure the time between milestones in study activation, enrollment metrics and more. There is also an open application programming interface (API) available that allows technology vendors to integrate their CTMS with Site Benchmarks, as well as a standard spreadsheet template through which data can be uploaded into Site Benchmarks. The dashboards included help sites visualize performance, identify trends, drive process improvements and monitor changes over time.
Though the platform was launched in 2013, its origins date back to seven years prior when 20 of the nations top research centers began collaborative efforts to develop data definitions and identify key metrics to track from the site perspective. Thus, a standard set of site-based operational metrics were created and are used in the tool today to provide a holistic view of performance. In 2014, RRN won the Clinical Informatics News Best Practices Award for Clinical Data Intelligence. Earlier this year, the tool was moved from Forte to the companys wholly owned subsidiary, Nimblify.
