KCR’s #HBEN project won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2018!
BERLIN, GERMANY - Mar 15, 2018 - KCRs patient-centric project #HumanBehindEveryNumber (#HBEN) won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2018. The project was recognized in the category of Professional Concept - Health. Each year, the worlds oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD.
The iF DESIGN AWARD 2018 is the first design prize awarded to a contract research organization (CRO). KCRs idea behind #HumanBehindEveryNumber commissioned to The Story, a design agency, was to contribute to the future of clinical trial design.
The Award competition was intense: over 6,400 entries were submitted from 54 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality. The #HBEN project won over the 63-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. KCR was recognized among such iconic brands like Apple, Samsung, Philips, BMW, Huawei and many others.
The #HBEN project is based on the voices and perspectives of real patients who have participated or are participating in clinical trials, to learn their experiences and perceptions. The goal was to identify what stages of clinical trial are more demanding for patients, what can be improved or approached differently.
The iF DESIGN AWARD 2018 recognizing our project as a professional concept in health proves that our innovative approach to patient-centricity will translate into a better clinical study design in the future. This is our contribution to the pharma and CRO industry, commented Mike Jagielski, President & CEO of KCR.
The views and comments from real patients and the industry thought leaders from different countries are to be viewed via the project video platform: www.humanbehindeverynumber.com.
