eClinical Solutions’ Clinical Data Management Leaders to Co-Chair and Present at Society of Clinical Data Management (SCDM) 2020 Virtual Conference

Industry leaders to discuss the journey from data management to data sciences, present case studies on how technology platforms are automating and improving data review and reconciliation at world’s largest clinical data management conference

Mansfield, MA, August 25, 2020 — eClinical Solutions LLC, a leading global provider of cloud-based enterprise software and software-driven clinical data services, is pleased to announce that six of its clinical technology and data management leaders are speaking at SCDM 2020. Hosted by the Society of Clinical Data Management, SCDM is the world’s largest data management conference. This year’s virtual event will take place from September 13 to 16 in the U.S. and Europe and will feature panel discussions and presentations about the CDM trends and innovations that guide the industry today. 

 

“The SCDM Annual Conference helps frame the conversation around the latest clinical data management strategies and advancements,” said Dawn Kaminski, eClinical Solutions’ Senior Director, Data Strategies and SCDM 2020 meeting Co-Chair. “The global research community is working more collaboratively than ever to develop therapies to treat and prevent the spread of infectious disease like Covid-19. Sharing ways to improve data management processes and implement more sophisticated technologies for data analyses is critical in today’s rapidly changing environment.” 

 

Katrina Rice, eClinical Solutions, will chair the session, “Are We There Yet? The Journey From Data Management to Data Science”. She will be joined by Vadim Tantsyura from BioMarin Pharmaceutical, Dr. Imogene Dunn from Immunovant and Raj Indupuri from eClinical Solutions to explore the evolution of the clinical data management function to incorporate data sciences principles and strategies and the role artificial intelligence will play in this transformation. In “Alexa, Reconcile My Data: New Technologies Automating Data Reconciliation,” Diane Lacroix, eClinical Solutions, will chair a discussion with Sreekanth Gudapati from eClinical Solutions and Lorenzo Balsamo from Jounce Therapeutics, including examples from a recent Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development (CSDD) study that reveals increases in trial cycle times and how improved workflow processes and technologies like clinical data workbenches can support more efficient data reconciliation. In “A Deep Dive into Master Protocol Trial and Data Management – Experts Opinion,” Mithilesh Sharma, eClinical Solutions, will join a panel discussion on the importance of data quality and the best practices to plan Master Protocol Trial design. Finally, Dawn Kaminski will review CDISC’s latest projects on a panel about developments in data standards.
