Phastar Take Lead on Making Sense of Visual Data Analytics at ACDM23 Barcelona
Specialist biometrics CRO are key sponsor and presenter at industry event to support continuous professional development in clinical data management
London, UK and Durham, NC – February 20, 2023: Phastar, a global specialist biometrics contract research organization (CRO), offering industry-leading data management, data science, statistical consulting, and clinical trial reporting services to the pharma and biotech sectors, is proud to be a headline sponsor and keynote speaker at the forthcoming Association For Clinical Data Management (ACDM) event, ACDM23, taking place in Barcelona from the 12th–14th March 2023. The two-day program of expert speakers, specialist panels, workshops and debates will offer an environment for continuous learning and application of contemporary Clinical Data Management practices, convening global clinical research professionals to share ideas, challenges, and best practices to improve the drug development process.
The recent increase in volume and variety of data in clinical trials has led to significant advancements and a wider adoption of data analytics and visualizations, resulting in near real-time monitoring of data across sources and improved efficiency. With this technological transformation, data managers must be increasingly involved in the design, build, and review of visual analytics within clinical trials, to create intuitive, interactive visualization which offers drill-down capabilities.
This is the thrust of a presentation by Phastar’s Danielle Grindley, Senior I, Digital Health Analyst, entitled ‘Visual Data Analytics: Making sense of it all’. The greatest challenges today faced by data managers are both identifying and defining the requirements for visual analytics, and ongoing interpretation of results to ensure patient safety, and improve the data quality and efficiency of the clinical trial. This interactive presentation will focus on the design and interpretation of visual analytics for clinical, audit, and metric data in clinical trials, using real-life use cases.
Andrew MacGarvey, Phastar’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “ACDM is highly regarded for the opportunities it affords to constructively engage, collaborate, and learn from industry experts in Data Management and we are proud to be a lead sponsor of this event in Barcelona and contribute to professional development. At Phastar, we pride ourselves on the priority we give to ensuring on-time, quality work, and every project undertaken is supervised on methodology and utilizes internal processes designed to guarantee optimal quality, inspired by extensive accumulated technical experience across the company.”
Sharing ACDM’s mission to support professional development, Phastar will also be sponsoring and hosting an evening ‘Sangria by the Sea’ networking session on Sunday 12th March. This ice-breaker social event will encourage delegates to meet, share their experiences, and collaborate constructively.
