December 22, 2010 | PwC has released six healthcare trends for 2011 based on a survey of 1,000 Americans including record spending on health-IT, big changes in benefit plan design and pricing, and further merger and acquisition activity. The survey also found that 86 percent of consumers do not access their medical records electronically, despite vast investments in EHRs and high hopes that consumers will use EHRs to participate in shared medical decision-making. Healthcare IT News
