An eight-country survey of 3,700 doctors in Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Singapore, Spain and the United States showed that Singapore doctors are increasingly using healthcare IT to improve treatment and diagnosis, as well as to reduce administrative tasks and improve productivity. The majority of Singapore doctors (87 percent) believe that the quality of patient care, throughout the healthcare system, has improved because of the use of electronic medical records.
