April 7, 2014 | The MIT science journalism site collects together and reflects on the articles in Elisabeth Rosenthal's New York Times series on common health expenses in the U.S., and how they compare to costs in other countries. The series, begun in June 2013 with the article "The $2.7 Trillion Medical Bill," has now run for over twenty stories, trying to understand why American medical prices have become so inflated relative to the rest of the world.
