DURHAM, NC - Nov 18, 2014 - Clinverse, Inc., provider of automated financial management technology solutions for clinical trials, announced today the addition of John Musante as Chief Commercial Officer.  John brings more than 25 years of experience across industry sectors including health care, technology, and life sciences.

In this role, John is responsible for leading commercial efforts to strengthen Clinverse’s position as an industry leader.  His appointment comes on the heels of a $9.1 million Series C round of funding, which is being used to further the company’s commitment to expanding its sales and marketing organization and to educating the marketplace about its best-in-class solution for automating the financial management of clinical trials.

Prior to joining Clinverse, John served as Senior Vice President, Business Development, at INC Research, where he led a team of account executives and participated in the structuring and execution of the company’s commercial strategy.  He has previously held executive positions in both large and small pharmaceutical companies, such as GlaxoSmithKline and AcSentient, as well as at industry service providers that specialize in supply chain and clinical development, including Tompkins Associates.
