December 15, 2015 | PerkinElmer announced a new analytics solution yesterday designed to help review teams, biostaticians, data managers, pharmacologists and others overcome clinical data review challenges.

Clinical Data Review uses TIBCO Spotfire to combine data and let users interactively explore information and discover new relationships. This enables users to optimize the clinical trial process and make more informed decisions on the safety and efficacy of therapeutics earlier in their development.

“Our Clinical Data Review solution speeds up the clinical data review process, automatically combining data to allow development team members to interactively explore information and discover new relationships,” said Karen Madden, President, Informatics at PerkinElmer in a statement.  “With the ability to quickly visualize and analyze data, team members can optimize the clinical trial process, focusing their efforts on obtaining insights and answers for bringing drugs and devices to market faster.”

The Clinical Data Review offering is built on TIBCO Spotfire, which provides an enterprise-class analytics platform featuring easy data integration, role-based authorization and automation services. Customers can combine data from various clinical data sources without scripting or IT involvement, then users can quickly spot outliers and dig into the clinical data to uncover trends and patterns through intuitive visualizations.
