July 13, 2017 | A trial for the identification and treatment of hospital-acquired pneumonia is starting in the UK. The trial will pit Oxford Nanopore's MinION reader against two other non-sequencing genetic tests. The goal is to accurately and quickly identify the bacteria causing pneumonia, so the right antibiotic can be prescribed. The Telegraph
