The RGC UK Biobank Consortium Data Delivery and Cohort Browser

The UK Biobank (UKB) has collected and developed a biospecimen and data resource on over 500,000 individuals. This resource has proven valuable to pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations and the scientific community, and has already led to more than 170 publications revealing novel associations with important epidemiological markers. In collaboration with a consortium of pharma companies, the Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) has undertaken the exome sequencing and analysis of all 500,000 samples, using the DNAnexus Platform to host the dataset and run Regeneron's software pipeline. To increase the value to the RGC UKB consortium, Regeneron and DNAnexus partnered to construct a combined database of the UKB genomic and phenotypic data to explore through an innovative "geno/pheno cohort browser" user interface. Part of the DNAnexus Apollo Platform, the cohort browser was designed to democratize data access, giving diverse teams the ability to browse through 3,000 phenotypic fields and 15,000,000 genomic variants across 100,000 samples, and build cohorts.

Implementing the CogStack system at GSTT for the recruitment of patients to Clinical Research trials

GSTT has deployed a low cost structured and unstructured information retrieval and extraction architecture termed "CogStack" within GSTT. Nymad, an application support, database management and data integration specialist, provides the infrastructure for the "CogStack" data retrieval and extraction facility to search "structured" and "unstructured" data derived from eNoting documents & LetterMaker system inputs. CogStack allows GSTT research clinical users to focus specifically on surfacing the deep data within the hospital systems eNoting documents & LetterMaker at GSTT for identification and recruitment of patients into Research clinical trials such as the 100k Genomics England Project.

Tata Consultancy Services

TCS Connected Clinical Trials (CCT) Platform

TCS developed the Connected Clinical Trials (CCT) platform, which empowers patients, sites, and sponsors participating in a clinical trial with the power of connectivity with a variety of innovative sensors, smart medication packages and mobile devices. CCT enables real-time data integration, analytics and tailored patient support, and is designed to foster a real-time connection between patients, sites, and sponsors with full compliance to regulatory norms. CCT is an innovative software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that can be used by pharmaceutical companies to automate the clinical supply process while also gaining real-time insights into adherence and trial data  and significantly transform patient engagement in clinical trials.
