With this partnership, PCE will use myTomorrows’ vast database of ongoing clinical trials to equip patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with up-to-date, accessible information about pre-approval treatments that may be relevant to them. For pancreatic cancer patients, their loved ones, and the Health Care Professionals (HPCs) who treat them, the partnership will ease the process of identifying and understanding the existing clinical trial options. The National Institutes of Health has awarded the Ohio State University a $4.38 million grant to support newly trained clinician-scientists for careers in medical research. The 5-year award will fund the Clinical and Translational Science Institute K12 program, a mentored research and education program that provides research funding, salary support, and training in clinical and translational science. The K12 program creates opportunities for up-and-coming researchers to develop under the mentorship of experienced researchers.  Press release
